The vessel is based on 1674 design with 120 ton bollard pull upgraded for hose handling operations. The modification includes additional deck winch, rollers and crane for hose handling as well as deck recessed basing for hose maintenance. The vessel is also fitted with oil recovery system which substituted typical liquid mud system.
Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting office prepared basic design as well as class drawings, workshop documentation and has provided building process supervision.
The Kehoe Tide was delivered to Tidewater Marine LLC in 2008.
