M/v Rocknes the largest dynamically positioned flexible fall pipe rock dumping vessel sank outside Bergen in January 2004. The Owner Kvitnes Shipping Company decided to salvage and tow ship to Gdansk.
The main items of rebuilding process included:
- added a new sponsoon tanks,
- installation of uniqe rock dumping system,
- renewal of accomodation spaces,
- renewal of wheelhouse,
- conversion of electric installation.
