Conceptual design of REM 120 was carried out within Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting. Class drawings were outsourced under supervision of RMDC which prepared workshop and as built documentation by RMDC as well as building supervision.
The vessel is reinforced to carry heavy cargoes and fitted with to carry containers with 532 TEU capacity. The vessel is also able to carry general , break-bulk and hazardous cargoes as well as heavy and oversized units. Tweendeck panels can be fitted 4.7 m and 6.0 m above tank top or form one or two transverse bulkheads to give flexibility of loading scenarios.
The vessel is fitted with two deck cranes each having 120 t @ 16 m or 55 t @ 32 m and 222 t SWL lifting capacities.
