RMDC 8527 is a single deck tug with two azimuth stern drives (ASD) designed for all-year operation in non-arctic seas in middle ice conditions. The vessel is designed for:
-port assist for vessels including tankers,
-towing and escort services at sea in A2 area,
-external fire fighting with water/foam monitor,
-salvage operations,
-oil pollution recovery (option).

MAIN EQUIPMENT

-Hydraulic ship’s store crane knuckle boom design rated for 2t at 6m,
-Towing winch with 5 t pull at 1st layer and 50 t braking capacity,
-Bow towing winch with 5 t pull at 1st layer and 50 t braking capacity,
