RMDC 8528 is a single-deck tug, with two shafts lines, fixed pitch propellers in nozzles, steering gears and independent rudders, intended for:
-assisting ships’ entry and exit to and from the port basins,-carrying out heavy towing and pushing operations in harbor area,
-carrying out heavy towing on deep sea area,
-rescue operations.
MAIN EQUIPMENT
-Towing hook of 50 T SWL, with slewing angle of 180º,
-Aft double towing bollard with towing chock,
-Electrically driven capstan of 40 kN pull.
