RMDC 8529 is a single deck tug with two azimuth stern drives (ASD) designed for all-year operation in non-arctic seas in middle ice conditions.
The vessel is designed for:
-port assist for vessels including tankers,
-towing and escort services at sea in A2 area,
-external fire fighting with water/foam monitor,
-salvage operations.
MAIN EQUIPMENT
-Hydraulically driven towing winch SWL 30 t,
-Radial type tow hook SWL 70 t,
-Aft towing bitt SWL 80 t.
