RMDC 8530 is a single deck tug with two azimuth stern drives (ASD) designed for all-year operation in non-arctic seas in middle ice conditions.
The vessel is designed for:
-port assist for vessels including tankers,
-towing and escort services at sea in A2 area,
-external fire fighting with water/foam monitor,
- salvage operations.
MAIN EQUIPMENT
-Towing winch with SWL 15 t and 150 t braking capacity,
-Forward towing winch with SWL 15t and 100 t braking capacity,
-Double towing bollard with 50 t SWL towing hook.
